Venus Retrograde Venus is concerned with love, money, beauty, art and pleasure; when retrograde we can be impractical and extravagant in all of these areas.  Relationships seem to take a backward step; but it is a great time to resolve issues and make peace.  It is best not to start a new love now.  Wait until this phase is over before trying a new hairstyle/color or purchasing a new outfit as you won't like it later.  The same goes for redecorating; the color or design won't work out.  Absolutely no plastic surgery should be done at this time either; you may not like the results, pay too much or feel you shouldn't have done it later on.    Mars Retrograde Mars is our action planet and relates to drive, desire, sex, temperament, courage, strength, surgery and accidents.  When Mars is retrograde you won't feel like you are making much progress; so be patient and work off any frustrations with exercise or physical activities.  This is not a time to push forward, be a daredevil or buy mechanical devices.  Slow down, pace yourself and take it easy.  Pay close attention to health, don't start an argument, and drive defensively.  Surgery, if not necessary, may need to be postponed.
